The first week of a new year always feels incredibly hopeful to me. That's why I love the theme of this week's Friday's Fancies so much. New year, new you - reinvent yourself however you want to be. And a new year is as good an excuse as any.
This year, I want to try to simplify. Does this outfit show that? I thought of the white dress as a clean slate, a fresh start. Next, I added classic, chic accessories that don't require much thought to put together and always look great. And finally, a bold red lip, because I think every new year needs a little room for the unexpected.
